Learning through play – Professional development program on benefits of play for ECEC-teachers
The problem it solves
This online training program targets to improve the professional competence of ECEC personnel and focuses on using play as a tool for learning utilising a child’s natural interest and tendecy to play.
It gives the tools to improve the overall wellbeing and learning results of the children by incorporating play and its benefits into everyday life.
Training program also provides practical knowledge on the Finnish ECEC and supports the implementation of the practices in foreign context.
Target audience
Early childhood education students, teachers, management, and support staff. Anyone interested in early childhood education.
